About The ICFAI University

The ICFAI University has been established under section 9 (2) of Chhattisgarh private universities (Establishment and Operations) act 2005 and notified on March 25th, 2011. The University is empowered by Section 22 of UGC Act 1956. The University is accredited with NCTE (National Council for Teachers Education) for B.Ed programs & Bar Coucil of India (BCI). The university is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) New Delhi.

The University campus is spread over 30 acres of land, located at Kumhari Dist. Durg. ICFAI University offers Post Graduate, Undergraduate courses, Diploma and Doctoral programs in the fields of Management, Engineering and Technology, Commerce, Arts and Humanities, Education, Law and Science.

Infrastructure – The ICFAI offers of World Class Infrastructure and student facilities with student centric approach. Highest attention is paid to hands on learning approach and students are encouraged to come up with innovative ideas for projects and practical’s. The University has laboratories and workshops, all well equipped with the latest, state of the art apparatus and tools. Special emphasis is given to the development of communication skills through the language lab. More than 300 computers are available for the use of the students.

The faculty of engineering & technology is well known for its excellence in teaching and research. The faculty members are engaged in state of the art research as well as guiding the Ph.D. and M.Tech. Students. The faculty has made great strides by revising and updating its syllabus time and again. A thoroughly updated and revised syllabus has been implemented every year. The faculty has taken many initiatives for students to have exposure of writing the projects and also develop communication skills. Advanced level optional courses are also offered here. The faculty has distinguished itself as a centre for innovation and pioneer in a wide range of areas in Sciences.
