Message from Prof. Dr. Satya Prakash Dubey, Vice Chancellor
It gives me great pleasure to present a brief account of the happenings at ICFAI University, Raipur.
Currently, the academic session 2020-21 is in progress. The University is offering Programs in Computer Applications, Management, Engineering, Education, Commerce and Arts & Humanities at the UG and PG levels. The University has always strived for providing quality education to its students and it maintains a high standard of its curriculum aimed at developing intellectual capital for the state. The curriculum is reviewed at regular intervals to include the latest techniques and new developments in the subject area. I am happy to report that the academic delivery and examinations have always been completed in a time-bound manner.
The construction for additional academic block, workshop/laboratory, Boys and Girls Hostels, Canteen (including kitchen and dining facility) and some part of Indoor Sports facility have been completed during the year. The University is in continuous process of augmenting its infrastructure and laboratory facilities. The University has completed development of new programs like master degree, dual degree and Ph.D. in the area of management and engineering for students and working professionals who desire to enhance their qualifications. The University has received approvals to start M.Ed., BBA (Hotel Management) and Chhattisgarh Private Universities Regulatory Commission (CGPURC) approval for commencing programs in Law. I take this opportunity to express my gratitude to Hon'ble Governor of Chhattisgarh who is the Visitor of the University and Chancellor of the University for their guidance. I would also like to acknowledge, with thanks, the support received from the Government of Chhattisgarh over the past years and we hope that the Government will continue to be generous and continue its support in future too. We also acknowledge with thanks the officials of CGPURC for their regular guidance in the administration of the University. I would place on record the excellent work done by the faculty members and staff at the University without which we would not have made the progress that we have made, so far. I also thank the students community for having given us the opportunity to serve them and transform them into becoming the growth engines and societal change agents that our great country needs.
